Glitch or Rule?

I was taking my turn, i finished my attacks and was on fortification, but had to run out of the house. I saw that i only had an hour so i thought i would just leave it and it would end my turn. When i came back the turn ended, yet i didnt get a card. Is this an actual rule, or a glitch?

Yep, if you run out of time you don't get a card.

Nope it's a good one. No need that the rest should have to wait the extra 45+ minutes just because you are too lazy to push "End Fortification"...

also... if you start your turn and do not deploy your armies
they are gone for good as well.
