We have about 5 or 6 hosts who have already set up games. We still need about 3 more xiGAMES Premium Members to host first round games. If you are an ixGAMES Member and can do this please PM me.

Once the games are all set up, (by Thurs or Fri at the latest), we will announce the opening of signups. Our original plan is to start with 9 first round games with three doubles teams in each game, then have three semi-final games and a Championship game, consisting of the three teams that have won their semi-final games.

There will be slots for 27 teams in the Tourney.

Check back later in the week for more info.

AppleD: Is the game we are in now our practice round? If so, I'd gladly be your partner again. If you have a "Ringer" lined up, don't bother waiting for me. All is good. :mrgreen:

I want suggest you can use the head system (i dont know how say it in English), the same used in tennis tourneys and soccer world cup, so the stronggest dont need fight each other in the first game... Got the points of the double in signups day, and put the stronggest in different games. What do you say me?

We just call it brackets. Which means strongest teams faces weakest..like you have stated.

Sorry guys,

I do know what you're talking about but my priority is just to get this thing off the ground asap. As far as I'm concerned, for right now, simpler is better. There will be lots more xiGAMES Tourneys and plenty of opportunity to play different maps, settings, seedings, etc.
