umm.. enough said about what....exploring other possibilities doesnt make you a true christian.. you realize you can only know truth when you've explored both sides.

Trust me, I know the truth and His name is Jesus.

Jesus, you crack me up, Jay...should change the name of this "clan" to, "The Guillible and Naive".

You should change your name to Disgracer of the Midwest.

Jesus said, "If you love me then you will keep my commandments". So hows that going rev. ? Oh denier of the existence of God? :P

When did I deny his existance.. all I've said is IT COULD BE that he didnt exist... just exploring possibilities.

that means you're a tad agnostic.
We have explored truth and found Jesus to win that overwhelmingly.

So Jesus won against truth... too bad, I've always had a weak spot for the underdog myself.

What is the antecedent of "that" in your statement? Or are you using "that" as an adverb?

Let's stray back to the topic. People who are actually interested in putting this together. There are plenty of other threads to debate religion.

I think that the leader should be you, Knight.
Jay and I are too controversial to be the leader of this type of a clan.
Plus you said you have experience with clans, which I do not have.
Then 5 other Founding Memebers would be...

Ignore the part about Knight being the Leader in my previous post

after going to his church's website, I found he has a woman as a pastor...

due to this, I do not wish to have Knight as the LEADER of The Jesus Freaks, but still encourage him to be a Founding Memeber and help set up this new clan

Another classic post. I don't care enough to wade through the demented ramblings of an insane right-wing reactionary bigot, so I didn't visit your link. I'll just assume it's beccause the cult of christus hates and fears women.

Are there any qualifications for being in the clan?

Should there be?

I think members should be believers that Jesus Christ is who he claimed he is. (Son of God, messiah)

That the Bible is the word of God.

That anyone who disagrees with the group should be tied to a stake and burned alive and that "severe interrogation" methods up to and including, but not limited to, having someone sitting on a pointy stake with weights tied to his feet, the use of racks, whipping, starvation, cutting off fingers, feet and so forth, the use of thumbscrews, hot pincers, crocodile shears and of course the iron maiden can be used to find out whether someone agrees with the group or not.

I disagree with you.
A: A woman pastor is not a bad pastor. They are just as capable of being a pastor as a man is.
B: If Jay was the leader, we could have controversy. Controversy sets us apart. You shouldn't cower away from controversy. Controversy is part of life.

I would like to be leader of this clan. and Happysadfun I disagree, I believe everyone who worships jesus christ should be welcome and not just people who fit in your narrow version of "christian"

Wow!! It does seem as though you're being pretty restrictive about who can, and cannot, be a Jesus Freak. This seems especially odd if you are truly considering the Rev as a potential leader....lol
