Favorite Maps
As there are what, 80 or so maps now - and growing (hats off to cartographers & company)

I think a lot of players would enjoy the ability to select maps to their "favorites". Then when searching games just click on box that says "favorite maps" instead of clicking your top 10-15 maps.

Could go one step further and have a "hated maps" list as well - Then have the ability to select any map "except" these maps (God knows there are a couple of maps I would add to my list.

Would make searching for games to play a little faster - thats all.

Thanks
Dave

Something similar to this has been suggested, and I believe some time we'll have a "favorites" listing.

another thing you can do is download the script plug-in of "saved searches" which would basically do the same thing. i have it installed and its great.
i have these saved searches:

Conquest maps
team conquest maps
speed games
team games
good maps

its really good - i would recomend it, if you want it i'll look up the thread somewhere

This only works when using Mozilla and BOB.

Many people are prevented from installing BOB for a variety of reasons:
work computer
school computer
friend's computer

or they aren't able to use Mozilla. I think many people don't think about this.

I use Firefox/Bob - at both home and work - however, not everyone uses this combination (as you said for a variety of reasons)

yes, a script would do this nicely - but I think this is a feature that all players of conquer club would enjoy - thus should be coded as part of the game finder code - and not part of a script add on.

what about deleting some of the maps that no one plays? I'm sure there are some that are rarely used.

Are the maps that you don't enjoy really hurting you by sitting there?

yes it does, but using FF and installing GM are really no big deal, FF is really good.
