Lord of the Rings Trivia

Post by ParadiceCity9 »

Simple. Ask a question and whoever gets it right asks the next question.

What word did Gandalf have to say (in Elvish) to get into the Mines of Moria?

Actually, that's wrong. Saruman was the former White Wizard in cahoots/working for Sauron, but never Sauron's master. The name escapes me and I have no idea where my LOTR books are to look for it. :?

I would've also accepted Melkor, tim.

Ar-Pharazôn was responsible for the fall of Númenor. (Sauron egged him on, but somehow didn't join in the assault.)

What were the names of the dwarves that Bilbo accompanied to the Lonely Mountain? Yes, I want all of 'em. :P

After wracking my brains for far too long, I finally gave in and looked up Bilbo's mother's name. I remembered Bungo Baggins... and I really should have remembered Belladonna Took. I'm still kicking myself for that...

At the end of Return of the King, who were the bearers/wearers of the three Elven Rings of Power?

Dammit, I meant Lalaith -- I forgot about Nienor.

Answer to yours is Iluvatar.

So what is the meaning of Lalaith?
