Re: One shot, One kill (Reserves)
shouldnt whoever won in the lowest amounts of turn be put into a final showdown kinda thing rather then redoing those games?
Re: One shot, One kill (Reserves)
I agree with sillyfungus. We're ending up with nearly a full game's worth of people who have won in 6 rounds. And when you think about it, the people who successfully won that quick will be ganged up on and eliminated by the people who more than likely lost in one sweeping stroke (I eliminated all 7 other people in round 6). That's not fair to the people who were able to pull off a really quick victory, the essence of this tournament. I also think that nate wasn't expecting a tie of such magnitude, and the larger size should justify a playoff instead of a re-play.

Looking at the numbers it may be best course... but lets wait and see how many round 6 (and see if anyone can pull off a round 5!) before making any officially decisions... but i think if we have more then 8 6 wins then we will do this

Re: One shot, One kill (Reserves)
yeah as long as there are an even amount of winners then we can just make 2 games of 5 or whatever. cause we might just end up with another set of 6 round wins and so on.

that is IF noone wins in round 5... one player (pempi) said he was 1 unit short of winning in round 5, so it obviously is a possibility

Looks like there will be enough 6 rnd winners for a nice 2nd rnd. it might even take 3 or 4 with a field of this size.

If anything we've proven by large sample size that with competent people who want to win no game of Escalating Classic can be won in fewer than 6 rounds.

i dont think thats quite true, i think its VERY hard, but like i said earlier, pempi... he was 1 army short of winning in round 5. Which means 1 single dice roll better and he would probably win this tourny... so not impossible, just ALOT of work ALOT of planning and ALOT of luck(probably this more then any)

Re: One shot, One kill (Reserves)
I hope noone wins in under 6 rounds, I want to be able to win, and that can only happen if noone beats 6 rounds.
