Actually, c.o.s., that was very impressive. Joined two minutes after I made the comment, and found it straight away, while having a cos avatar ready-made.
Wow, is there a super-secret Ronometer or something?

This is a serious question. I'm actually painfully ignorant about the history of terrorism in the UK, but from what little I do know is that it's the most common historic example of how to combat it.

And how often did the IRA intentionally target civilians?

heh, well the IRA were tethered by their need not to upset their financiers in the USA (civilian targets were not good PR) and they were too cowardly to be suicide bombers.

But civilian targets weren't entirely out of the question, right?

You wouldnt think it possible that so many people could be so utterly blinded by patriotism and religious dogma as to consider Mohamed to be a greater despot than the likes of Hitler or Stalin #-o

Last time I checked this thread wasn't called "Who is the biggest despot"... it's not about who was the most tyrannical/bloodthirsty rule, it's about whose influence people would most want removed.

While I am personally surprised that big Mr M gets more votes than Hitler, I don't think that people are somehow unaware of the character of Hitler's regime, or have been somehow brainwashed into thinking Mohammed was responsible for the Holocaust.

Perhaps the fact that Jesus also gets more votes than Hitler gives us a clue as to what it is that people seem to regard as the most damaging/malign historical influences here?

that is the judgement Ill; does removing bad people actually make the sum of history worse?
But to say someone as bad or worse would've come along? Basing this for a moment upon direct actions and not the broader implication to the sum of history; I am not so sure Stalin has ever been topped, he was a fairly special case.

I have realised who I want out of history, but this person kind of isn't from history.

You know that judge, from America's "So You Think You Can Dance?", and she screams when someone dances good. I would want the expunged from the face of the earth.

I am pretty sure Hitler would have found some other group to blame. Jews were just an easier victim due to the already existing antisemitism.

1. profit shares for illegal substance distributors would be 15% lower between 1985-1999
2. Lost Boys could have paved the way for Scott Baio and Kirk Cameron instead
3. Feldman's moderately hot wife would possibly still be available
4. upcoming Crank 2 movie would need to find a new extra instead of Haim

with that said, I think the world would be okay without them.

you're a bad bad person. how can you replace these 2 in The Lost Boys. who the fook is Kirk Cameron? :?

i'm torn between Michael Jackson and Rick Astley. no more Rick rolls from firth.

Then expunge rick's tailor and barber - at least it'd make a Rick roll more bearable.
