I'll post my move as soon as I decide on what that is.
What do you guys think of the game?

This is an awesome game. It reminds me slightly of "Spot", an old 7up-sponsored board-game style game for the NES... but it's only similar, definitely not the same thing.
We definitely should play again after this one...

How was that one played?
Re: New board game? [Round 5 - pcm's turn]
A couple notes: It's been Round 3 for a couple rounds now.
I think I got it to the right round though.
I went Eb. If Dito had moved there, he would have taken two of my pieces, instead of one. Just making sure you both know that taking multiple pieces is perfectly possible. If you notice that I only replace one piece, by all means tell me, I may have just missed it.

When I took my last turn, the board looked like this... I'm pretty sure that Eb wouldn't have taken two pieces, unless I'm missing something. Or do you mean that if you hadn't just blocked that off now, I could have taken it for two in the future?
I'll make my next move shortly...
EDIT: link fixed

Re: New board game? [Round 6 - Dito's turn]
Ugh... I suppose Ea will have to do. Once again I must commend you on inventing a game that's so fascinatingly complex yet simple.
"Spot" worked on a board that was like this one, but larger... actually, I think it might have also been 7x7. Anyway, the players started in the corners. You can move your piece 1 or 2 spaces away, (diagonals and knights allowed). If you only move 1 space, the original piece remains where it was (essentially copying itself to the new spot), if you move two, it goes away. If you move a piece adjacent to any opponent pieces, all of them converted to your color. So you could potentially move a piece into the middle of a circle, capturing 8 pieces.
Not sure if it was based on a real board game... probably was.
But this game is more interesting, imo... "spot" encouraged quick moves to whichever space captured the most enemies; very rarely was there a hidden strategy. This game almost requires chess-like forethought...

By the way, thanks for the compliments, Dito
If either of you want to host your own games, I'll send the .psd file.
If this becomes popular, I'm thinking we might want to set up a clan. We could have a league, with ratings and stuff. But we need to think of a name for it.
