well Fitz, im not sure if you can find a name for all of the "countries," and it is a hell of a lot of territories, but if you find a way to pull it off Im game.

Maybe convention style names as A1, D15 etc.
For the continents we could use names as Liberals, Democrats Security, Coservative media, The People. And so on...

Not wanting to be rude, but there is someone else supporting this idea? To me it looks very ugly (made in Paint), and boring, with zillions of countries named A1, A2, etc. I simply wouldnt play as it is now, and although I know I dont need if I dont want (no need to tell it to me), just wanting to know if someone would.

I agree, it's crude at least. It is made in MapInfo though. And is just a concept illustration.
The zillions of countries can be minimized if I remove the bleachers surrounding the congress. As for the congress seats (senators) I could halve the their number and it would look better and at least less cluttered.
As for boring, any map doesnt make the game as much as their players.

It's out of MapInfo and into Photoshop now.

When i comes to the names of all the 'countries' I'm open to suggestions.
As for senators I think the simple names would do and keep the clutter down.

alright, been looking at some maps online. These ideas tickle anyone's fancy?

Istanbul
Greece
Madagascar
Falkland islands
Galapagos islands
Singapore

Anything? come on. Someone has got to bite on one of these!

Greece simply not: we already have.
Madagascar, well, its shape dont help too much, you would suffer with the bottlenecks, like the Sweden map someone started.

The others I have no idea... with magnification maybe we could have enough territories, although those regions are small compared to the world... If I would choose, I would opt for Istanbul. Or, if you want do an archipelago map, you can think about Indonesia... or Oceania (without Australia)

Also, its a shame we dont have a full Asia map, or a Russia / USSR map #-o
