I think more people would get jokes about the Lions, rather than your jokes about your loins, who most people haven't seen. Meanwhile, everyone wishes they hadn't seen our Lions!

I have a particular fondness for Moody's "Loins", especially since I am actually moving to Michigan in a few months and will be rooting for them at that point! Moody, I pray that your Loins finish with a bang!!! Here's hoping they have better luck next season!!

Whereabouts will you be moving to? And may I suggest, instead of the Lions, you go for the Stanley Cup Champion Red Wings?

Really if your looking for the positive side of consistency...the wings would be the choice. Root for the lions if you feel a little guilty about how well the rest of your life is going. The pistons and tigers are solid choices for teams that will threaten every decade or so.

Well Minnesota, you came very close today to being put on Santa's naughty list

Vikings - 20
Lions - 16

I'm telling you all that we've just got to keep believing this will happen. I feel like I personally willed the Vikings across the finish line today. Hardly anybody will remember who won the division years from now. Everybody will remember the team that went the distance without a victory.

I'm fairly sure we've got this wrapped up, after such a close call today.

This is the one game I wish the Lions won. Now we have to basically win out if we want a shot at the playoffs.

Ha! :D
The big trouble with dumb bastards is that they are too dumb to believe there is such a thing as being smart.

You know, I've just got this weird feeling that somehow Green Bay is going to screw this whole thing up on the last day of the season.

Yep, I think Green Bay will do the Lion's fans proud. I just don't see them beating Indy or The Saints, but Green Bay...that's a horse of a different color. Real good possibility that they could screw up the losing streak that we all are looking forward to for the sake of posterity and for future generations to talk about and ridicule for ever and ever as long as football remains a game.

And as a Vikings fan--Go VIKINGS!

Who knows, maybe Packers fans would shut up if they blew this for all of us. Silver lining, perhaps?

Detroit Lions are such a tease, getting off to quick starts and taking early leads
only to let it slip away. Is it possible they are doing this intentionally?

It's a little ironic that the Lions play at Ford Stadium.

The ultimate tease was the Buffalo Bills going to the Super Bowl 4 years in a row and losing all 4 years consecutively. But then again, if you watched the X-Files you would know the reason for that. Now THERE'S a conspiracy!

It's been so bad so far, . . . we can only hope it's going to be epic.

Although as has been pointed out, the Lions are a tease, and it's very likely that they are only teasing us by flirting with 0-16. This team is so bad, I don't even think they can be good at losing.

What would fail more? Going 0-16? Or actually winning the last game of the season, denying yourselves a chance at history?

Props to Peyton Manning and company for doing almost the absolute minimum to pull this one out and keep the dream alive. New Orleans...I do believe you're up next. DO NOT LET US DOWN!

Nawlins is already out of playoff contention in the NFC
and certainly doesn't want the added embarrassment of being the team that loses to the Lions.
