LxDS: Double Dutch [Winners: roelbianca & sjnap]

Post by Lindax »

.
Queen’s Day is coming up in Holland, which is April 30. This doubles tournament will decide who will be the Queen’s Knights!

And the Queen's Knights are: roelbianca & sjnap! =D>

I would like to try and play the final on Queen’s Day, as speed games. We’ll see if that’s feasible.

The champions may be knighted by Her Majesty Queen Beatrix and they may even be invited for pannekoeken met stroop by the Queen :P

Oh yeah, before I forget: Once you sign up you’ll have to wear orange clothes until Queen’s Day!

Tournament Set-Up
We will play with 16 doubles teams. Bracket will be random. If you win you’re through to next round, if you lose you’re out (elimination style).

Game Style: All rounds are best of 3. All games are sequential, escalating, chained and foggy.

Map: Mmmm…. Let me think. Yes, of course: Netherlands!
Teams & Sign-Up
1.- The teams must be made up out of one player with the Dutch Nationality.
2.- At least one player needs to be an officer (i.e., have 1600 points minimum at sign up).
3.- You’ll need a name for your team, which has to be a Dutch castle. Your are the knights of the castle.
4.- Freemiums are welcome, you’ll need 3 open slots

Sign up: Teams can sign up in this thread or send me a pm. Please give me your usernames, nationalities and scores and also the name of your team (Dutch castle). You can also sign up as a reserve player or team.

Please use this format:
--------
Team Name (Dutch castle)
Player 1 – Nationality – Score
Player 2 – Nationality – Score
--------
Notes
1.- You have 48 hours to sign up for a game. If a team has not joined within that time limit, the other team wins the game.
2.- The winning team has to post the outcome in this forum thread. Failure to do so will result in being named “team pannekoek” for the rest of the tournament.
3.- Please pm me or post here if you have any questions.
Tx, I reserved a space. If you're Belgium, you'll need a partner who is Dutch and an officer. I would also need a Dutch castle as your team name

I might join. Just an FYI though. most Freemiums will only be able to play one or no speedgames. Might complicate your finals.

Anybody seeking a dutch officer as partner, give me a pm

Thanks Sebstar. Playing the final as speed games is just an idea, we'll see whne the time comes if it's at all possible.
