I've been watching the NFL for almost 20 years. I have the NFL Sunday Ticket on satellite which allows you to watch every NFL game.
However, Green Bay has fallen off my radar in recent years due to some 3 or 5 win seasons, or whatever it's been. I don't watch teams that have no playoff potential.
This year I happened to catch a few Packer games and I noticed that Favre has one of the worst NFL teams around him but he still has some game left! Not what he once was, but I was a bit surprised. I thought they were losing the past few years because Favre. QB's are always the first one blamed after a loss.
He's a first ballot Hall of Famer and was one of the best QBs of his generation in his prime. That is Fact.
And although he's past his prime, he looked like he still has another season or 2 left.
But staying with the the Packers will just result in another 8-8 season at best.
If he played in Indy with that amazing offensive line and Hall of Fame bound Harrison or in San Diego with LT or even in New Orleans with all those weapons I believe he could make at least 2 more playoff runs.
And I don't know how many of the leagues 'elite' QB's could've done much better if they had played in Green Bay this season.
Being an NFL Quarterback is one of the greatest occupations on the planet. If he wants to play until his legs fall off, then good for him. I'd do the same. Besides, the people of Green Bay would sell out Lambeau Field every game of every season until Favre was 50 just to see him play.

the people of Wisconson have nothing else. except for cheese. unless they're lactose intolerant.
So i guess if you live in Wisconson and you don't like football or cheese than your only other option is to have a crystal meth lab in your basement.

Notice, millej, that most people most people don't know who Brett Favre is or don't care that he is returning. This whole post is a waste of web space.
