Hoagy's Pub Quiz
Quite simple, this one.
Just post a general knowledge question of your choice. It can be about any subject, but must be one that can be reasonably answered by anyone (for example 'Who shot JFK'? is a legitimate question. 'What is the name of my neighbour's cat?' is not).
The next person to get the question right can post their own question.
Researching is allowed. (How could you prove that someone researched it anyway if it wasn't?)
No trolling or going off subject please.
If nobody has posted a question or replied to a correct answer for two days, feel free to keep it going with a new question.
Enjoy.

Just to get things going, a fairly easy one.
In the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, who scored the first goal in England's historic 5-1 win over Germany on 1 September 2001?

Sportsfan is right, Pete drummed for a little while but he didn't play base. Although this person is also called the 5th Beatle occasionally.

This game is no fun if you google the answers. Give me any question on earth and I bet google can answer it.

Absolutely!
I know I said research is allowed (simply because it's impossible to prove that someone has or hasn't googled the answer).
But in the spirit of traditional pub quizzes, it's more fun if players actually know the answer rather than having to go and look it up (like those people in a pub quiz who dash outside in the quiz break to text their friends/wives/girlfriends to look up the answers to questions they didn't know).

Re: Hoagy's Pub Quiz
i think it was September 4th 1776, but that's just off the top of my head, so it could be totally off.
