There's a very good chance that everyone from group 4 will be advancing to round 2. Good opponents, all of them.

group 10 so far:

i have won Peloponnesian War and Age Of Realms 3
Tintin492 has won Age Of Realms 1
MoB Deadly has won City Mogul

zips5000, AnalSeepage69 and Jefreus are still winless.

in Treasures Of Galapagos, Feudal War and Age Of Realms 2 we are all still in contention and in New World Jefreus and MoB Deadly are out.

Thanks. Glad to hear you're enjoying it, and I agree with you...I think it helps along the motivation to play a bit more on the edge than you might normally in a "don't win, don't advance" tournament.

Oh man, off to a terrible start in the first round. Only one won... just my luck. :(

When's the second round start?

That's not all bad, since that's enough to get you to round 2! <grin>

I won't be able to start round 2 until the first round ends, since the requirement to advance TO round 2 is to have won at least one game in round 1.

That being said, once we get close to the end of round 1, I'll start checking "those that are left playing" to see if everyone still playing has already won at least 1 game...if they have, then we'll be able to start round 2 anyway. But that won't happen until we're rather close, of course.

I'll also need a bit of time at the end of the round to go through the logs for each game to ensure that nobody broke the no-collusion restriction.

and i have to say, playing feudal war with adjacent settings is the most boring game i have played and biggest disappointment ive experienced in CC. you simply can not play feudal war with adjacent settings

Hey everyone...I'm in the process of moving from Nevada to Nebraska...on the road at the moment, in fact. So I haven't had any chance to update the tournament. It is NOT abandoned in any form...just on a very short delay. We will be back up very shortly however.

Thanks for your patience.

I'm back...but I see that we cannot proceed yet as there are still games in progress (I hadn't checked previously, just presuming everyone was done). So...we shall wait. <grin>

We've got one matchup still in progress with five of the six players still alive (I'm not kidding). So once it's completed, we'll be able to continue. It's definitely not dead (that won't happen with one of my tournaments)...it only seems like it at the moment. <grin>

We just bought a new home (today), so I will be sending out the next round's matchups and game-numbers in the next few days. Just be patient for a bit more and we'll be off with the second round!
