NFL team tourney 2009 (tourney dead...look for new thread)

Based on the number of views to sign-ups, I'm thinking there's not much interest in this format.

Thought a doubles idea might be fun for this, but I'm more of a 1 vs. 1 guy myself so I'll be dropping this tourney and re-opening a 1 vs. 1 NFL season with a similar scoring format.

Look for the new thread...coming in late tonight...p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27 or a.m. Friday, 28.

This sounds like an excellent time, as always, Flex! I'd prefer to rep the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets along with my recently recruited partner in crime, BDC6 . I'll get back to you asap far as maps and the other stuff goes.

Maps are anything you want except the Age of Realms series or tiny maps such as Doodle Earth and Duck & Cover. Also included spoils, forts and fog?...all games are SEQUENTIAL.

Those settings will be used for the home team each week in the 1 vs. 1 play....the list of maps (weeks 1-17) will be used for the Special Teams doubles showdown in each designated week.

Also, note I've used the old AFL logos for those teams that were playing in 1969...the NFL is honoring the 40th anniversary of the merger with the AFL this season. If you'd like to be represented by the updated logo just let me know.
