I've played West and Northeast now, and got my butt handed to me twice. They're fun maps, best played with a small number of people.

Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but has there been any thought of putting these 6 maps together into a USA 2.0?

That'd be quite impossible. Shit'd be crazy and awesome, but still impossible ;)

Yes there has been discussion and thought but it would most likely be impossible on teh small map.

Just wanted to say I LOVE these maps, in particular southeast. 90-95% of the games I play on here I play using one of these maps. Question.. Are there individual state maps in development or even on the drawing board at this point in time?

I am glad you like them. There is no current thought to make all 48 contiguous state maps.

For several reasons:
    1) Time (haha. I barely have time to do the other maps I have already posted)
    2) Desire. DO people really need/want all 48 states?
    3) Game Play. Not all states would work well with this game. Some are just boring squares.

The only thing related to these maps that I may look at in the future is to make a MEGA map that contains all 6 Maps from the map pack. But I am not promising anything now.

If they allowed larger maps it would be like the epoch map that mibi wanted to do, with the like 9 maps that also made up one. I think that is what he meant it to be but I could be wrong

Personally I think it'd be cool to have individual state maps. I have no clue how much time goes into making one map let alone 48, but i can only imagine.. Hell if I knew how to make a map I'd give it a whirl. Like maybe just start out with the biggest, most populous states like California and Florida (there's already a Texas map) and maybe branch out from there.. Just a suggestion or more like wishful thinking really.

The HIVE proves that making a map with an excessive number of territories is possible, no?

If all 6 maps were combined, they would still have less than HIVE, and that one works fine for the small map.

But The Hive has numbers as territory names...
USA combined would be incredibly hard to get everything in.

Hello all. I was cleaning out some junk and found my initial draft for teh USA Map pack.

Just in case you want to see, here it is.
The numbers in each state are the number of cities I planned on using.
I even had prelim icons for each state written in there as well. Good luck reading it. i can't even tell what some are. lol

Ok, im from the southwest and i see a couple of small quirks with that map. First, OKC should connect directly to dallas, its actually a quicker drive down 35 than it is to get to lawton on I 44. second, boise city needs to be renamed to Guymon, its the biggest "city," and i use that word loosly, in the panhandle. Plus, connect it to OKC rather than tulsa, highway 3 is the quickest route up to that wasteland. the rest of the map looks great though!

it would be really cool if you connected tuscon to shreveport via air force bases, it would make things a little more interesting and those 2 states a little less pointless

There are some mistakes on the New England map. Plattsburgh is closer to Burlington than Montpelier so those should be connected and Montpelier is closer to Berlin. I-90 is supposed to go through Worcester. And also New York City should connect to Scranton.

Ugh...USA New England...

Philadelphia should connect to Cherry Hill NOT Trenton.
Where is New Haven? The largest city in Connecticut.

Just saying, this probably won't be something happening soon.
