New map: Siberia Isolated!

Post by CCismylife »

My second map. {{The program i used, Smartdraw, automatically stamped itself on the bottom left hand side of my map.}} Siberia surrounded by water. No countries, just cities. Cities of the same color can attack each other, and holding the highways and/or regions give bonuses. 27 countries, 6 regions, 2 highways.

A couple of quick suggs.
Firstly, you should get some new software. I recommend GIMP, since it is free and you seem like the type who could go for that... :D At least you wont have to deal with watermarks.

You will need to get yourself acquainted with how it works though. Graphics obviously will need a few major improvements.

What is up with the roads, highways, and waterways? Are they actual travel routes in Siberia? If they are, you should label them like you did the cities. Are those thin blue lines rivers?
Kurgan, Kyzyl, Magadan, and Tyumen aren't connected to anything.
Is this an actual Island somewhere?

The bonuses seem impossible to hold too. They all have a lot of connections. They don't look balanced with each other either. For example both North and Western have the same bonus and the same number of terts. But North has many more borders.
