CC's latest update - UNOFFICIAL POLL.

Ok, so we have all seen the latest update, and I'm sure lack and the guys have put in a lot of work and I am going to stop being so critical from now on as it is hardly fair on them.

Now, putting my own personal feelings to one side, I would like to hopefully use this thread to get an accurate opinion on what CC's users actually think of this. I do realise that this will only reach the users of CC who use the Forums and there will be a lot of users who don't use the Forums whose opinions we will not be able to obtain unless they find their way to this thread.

Make it optional. That way it's beneficial for those who can't use BOB, but also doesn't get in the way for those who do use it. Simple.

Make it optional or get rid of it. It takes the fun out of the game and make the screen even more difficult to deal with on small screens.

There is no reason that Lack needs to make this option for BOB users. For BOB users, the proper solution is to modify BOB to remove that section.

I think the best feedback is already in the Announcement topic and in the topic Lack created for feedback---because they draw in people who rarely post in the forums as well. But who knows, maybe this could have some valuable feedback as well? I was just pointing out that I think there will be a poll skewment.

No, I think it means that regardless of the poll results it is the responsibility of the admins to take into consideration that there is a vastly larger majority of the website users who have never even heard of BOB and may very well quite appreciate the changes.

And as has been pointed out before, how does making it optional (and having it turned on by default) hurt those people who don't have BOB?

Regardless, I just miss how the site used to show how many spoils players had.

That is true OP, but there are also a lot of players including the top players who use BOB and do not like this feature. And those players would like to get rid of this some way.

And as has been pointed out before, how does making it optional (and having it turned on by default) hurt those people who don't have BOB?

Mine and many other screens vibrate up and down, very annoying, and many of us do NOT want to update BOB, we like it the way it is and we should have choice and options, not something new all of a sudden and forced upon. Thx for listening. Make it so if CC players want this, then update newest BOB, if they do NOT want it, do NOT update newest BOB, and if they do not want it, please fix the screen from going up and down, I am mis-deploying, mis-forting, very troublesome.

That is true OP, but there are also a lot of players including the top players who use BOB and do not like this feature. And those players would like to get rid of this some way.

agreed, or at least make it so if we choose NOT to update BOB, stop the screen from moving up and down, I mean, why force us to update BOB? If we do not, you make the screen jiggle? Not really fair. Many of us do NOT want to update BOB, there MUST be a way to stop the screen form bouncing if we choose not to update, correct?

Plus, the people who are upset are looking for a place to complain, and the people who are happy with it are less likely to seek out the forum to express their contentment.

One way or the other, I would like to see it off my screen. Whether they make it optional or BOB gets updated to get rid of it, I'm not fussed.

In general I keep BOB off. I do not like it and it slows me way down. I do not like this update either.

The update is a complete waste of space. We already have "BOB" to do this for us, so why integrate bits of it inot the site? We'd be just as well having "BOB" as standard.
