Its probably pretty hard to get an overall rating of 4.0 or lower simply because you are beating players and they are retaliating with low rating stars. There are far fewer players who give undeserved low ratings compared to players who are receiving ratings because of some negative behavior.

and more to the point, if a random player gave you an inappropriate rating, that wouldn't affect your overall rating to any great extent. and as far as i've seen, players who have low ratings deserve them, meaning they consistently receive justifiably low ratings, not the unjustified 1 star across the board rating that we've all recieved from time to time.

I personally have a 4.3 threshold. And the reason is that they are more likely to suicide, deadbeat, team kill, ect. so that even playing one game with them is unpleasant.

Comments: I beat this player in a Quad game and he left myself and the other members of my team bad ratings and tags. I felt by the chat in game everyone was having fun, but i guess not. I also looked at the ratings that he had left other players and i saw the samething. I'm not one to really do something like that but i just fell that taking your anger about losing out on someones ratings is wrong.

I hear what RHP 1 is saying. If someone throws a 1's rating at someone, get over it. It happened, it's not gonna affect your score, and it was just a rare bad deal.
