No Card Games - Bonus for Eliminating Player

Post by fordhamflash »

Please excuse me if this has been brought up before.

To me, the main drawback about No Card games is the lack of incentive to eliminate a player. Has any thought been given to offering an "army bonus" for a player that eliminates another player?

Thanks.

I think thats just a factor about no card games. you know it when you join one. there are other motovations like making sure that, that person is no longer able to attack you. And thats what some people like about no card games.

The motivation is such that you've taken out one of your oppenents. They can no longer attack you, you have the bonus from the countries they had, et cetra.

Hmmm, maybe No Cards would be more fun to play if you got +5 armies upon eliminating an opponent? fordhamflash, why don't you add a poll to your post?

Are you mad my friend?

That would ruin no card doubles and triples games. There the way to go is to take out one of the opponents, instantly in effect giving your team a three army per round bonus (which outweighs all 2 and 3 army bonus territories that the opponents may have).

I play no cards because the only way you can get the upperhand is by holding a continent with pure skill and a bit of luck

The extra armies might not offset what you lose taking out an opponent. We all know how you can lose 5 or even more trying to kill 1.
