Mission Cards are handed out for standard games and multiteam teamgames. On each card will identify a mission to accomplish. Each mission will be unique in that no other person will have that same mission. Complete mission and win the game.
Specifics:
Not every map will require nor expect to have Cards. Examples of missions could be to assassinate player x, take bonus x, or take city x, city y, and hold bonus x. Team games could have combination of killing a player and holding bonus and/or cities
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
Introduce more strategy into game play
Add more to maps then just having to take objective or complete wipe out.
Could add a whole subsection to the Map forums just for discussion of missions.
Add another option for users to play

Reason:To reflect Nola's post
Ya I think they would be a lot of fun to have, puts a slightly diferent spin on the game. Although i'm not sure how hard they would be to code in, its not like Lack has tons of free time.
In the spirit of someone else's suggestion of adding a Capital game variation, I think a Secret Mission variation should be added. The official Hasbro rules: Players: 3 to 6 Object: to be the first player to copmlete your secret mission Essentially, setup is the same as for world domination, except that at the end you get a secret mission that you must accomplish. This mission can be anything from conquering a certain number of territories or specific continents to eliminating an opponent. While I realize this makes the variant based on the map, I'm thinking it could be a special variant only available on the classic map or something.
I'm making this suggestion because, among the three official variants, World Domination, Capital, and Secret Mission, Secret Mission is easily the most fun. It doesn't get old because of the different missions, and it can make for a very short game or a VERY long game.
I can post a complete list of the different missions if anyone wants... Suggestions?

yep defiently copyright issues
When the first Atom bomb test was complete a colleague of Oppenheimer said: "What an Awesome and Foul display of Power." a moment later he added, "Now we are all sons of bitches"
It's fine to bump a thread if you enumerate the reasons why you are bumping it. Perhaps you want to bring a new argument to light, or perhaps some programming on the site was changed that makes a suggestion possible. Maybe you are just agreeing with the original poster, but saying "I agree" doesn't add very much, especially when the first post is so sparse.
If you want a suggestion to be added to the site check out the threads for Infected Neutrals or Adjacent Attacks to look at how much thought some people are willing to put into their suggestions.
I was just explaining why you were criticized for bumping the thread without adding additional content. Saying "bump" would be worse.
I think mission cards make for some quick and fun games, but I don't exactly think they should be added to the site...at least not the scored section of the site. Assassin games already cover about half of the standard missions, and the others usually involve controlling a certain area which is available with the objective maps. Therefore I think the options for mission cards are already available in different forms on the site (that was not true when this was first suggested) and the missions probably don't need to be added.
Playing assassin on a map with multiple winning objectives would be exactly the same as mission risk, no?
how about a mode, like standard, terminator, assassin, that gives us a couple of tasks, and the one who finishes first will win
Specifics:
There should be 5 tasks, and they should be placed somewhere, but opponents can't see... There will be a few tasks in a database, and random.org (close enough to random) will pick 5.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
shorter gameplay for those who are looking for short games
