Oceania Map!-CC MAP UP!

This is my 1st look, the map i have put up is the 1 that i will base it on!

I need help with the contenents and how to show the island colors???


Any feedback!

The Kuril Islands are still occupied by the Soviet Union--D'oh! :lol:

It's called Oceania mate. At least get the name of your map right even if it will probably never be completed! :p

As for the islands, perhaps do something like in ancient greece and circle the groups of islands.

Ok, you want to work in oceania, but you have in map Australia, then Large part of Azia(Indonesia,Philipines).

The problem is the islands arnt large enough 2 be filled a colour even if i enlarge them abit?!?!

Ok...perhaps the circles themselves can be coloured instead of the land?

i will look into that...i have tryed putting a semi-transparent colour over the top but i did not work, i might try again.

well... Austrailia, Indonesia, for the obvious ones. For an unobvious one, there seems to be 5 islands at the North East all owned by the U.S., that could be a continent.

In the case of Oceania and all the small islands, I think the most important thing to do first is playability and having it actually make sense. But if you do want to try improving graphics first, adding texture is a good way to start.
