Tournament Information:
[spoiler=Tournament Information]40 players (2 teams of 20)
Objective:
Be one of the last 4 players on your team to battle for tournament title.
Tournament Structure:
40 players will be assigned to two teams of 20 based on rank when tournament is full.
(Highest Rank will be assigned to Team 1, 2nd Highest to Team 2, 3rd Highest to Team 1, etc…)
Each round will consist of various maps and game types.
(Standard, Terminator, Assassin, Doubles, Triples, Quads)
All games will have Sequential play order with Automatic Initial Troops.
At the beginning of each round, each player will be assigned one game, it could be any type of game type, (more on this below). The type of games and the number of games will be determined by me for each round, and will be made in a way that one team will be the clear winner of the round.
After all of the games in each round are completed , the Team with the most wins will select a player (by votes from each member of the winning team) from both teams to play a 1v1 match. The loser of this match is eliminated.
However, the Winner of the elimination match will become to "Captain" of their respective team The Captain will have immunity from the elimination match in the round where they are labeled with immunity
(I will randomly choose the 1st round game assignments)
This tournament will follow this format (except for a few TWISTS that will be announced when relevant) until there are four remaining players on each team.
*I am aware that one team may have 4 players while the other has more, but I will announce how it will play out in this case if necessary.
When both teams have 4 remaining players left, a series of game types will be played to determine the tournament winner.
I apologize if some of the details are unclear, let me know if you have any questions. However, there WILL BE TWISTS in this game, but appropriate time will be allotted so that players can adjust any strategy.
Once the tournament begins I will let players know how and when they are to "Vote" for which players they wish to see in the elimination match.[/spoiler]
Diplomacy in Ultimatum!
[spoiler=Diplomacy]Just an update. There are no issues with this currently, but I feel I should just post it:
In some of the 4 player Standard games, there will be 2 members from each team, and I would like for the players to remember the secret diplomacy rules. Even though, you may know that 2 people may have an alliance please keep all gameplay alliances in the game chat as the CC rule indicates:
Rule #2: No secret diplomacy
Any form of diplomatic discussion between opponents must be posted in the game chat in English or in a language that all opponents understand. Diplomacy includes, but is not limited to: proposing truces, negotiating alliances, and coordinating assaults. Secret diplomacy can be hard to prove, but if you suspect it you should leave the players in question appropriate ratings. If you feel certain about players engaging in secret diplomacy consider reporting them in the Cheating & Abuse Reports forum by posting a new topic.[/spoiler]
