You abandon almost every tourney you start-I have no interest in ever joining one of your tourneys ever again.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.

If sensfan has abandoned tournaments, it is probably my fault. I'm his dad and I don't always tell him when we are going to be taking trips out of town. (He's only 10.) We won't be heading out of town for at least six weeks. Is that enough time for this tournament to play out?

Going out of town does not prevent tourneys from being played out. He has started a decent amount of tourneys and then let them die. It takes months for them to die though. Going out of town for a few weeks or even a month would not prevent someone from finishing a tourney. If he is only 10 maybe he should just play in tourneys rather than run them. Maybe you can help him do a simple tourney so he gets a grasp of it. Just some thoughts.

Cant join but-
WOW a 10 year old,, Very impresive for a 10 year old. great spelling and cordination of tourney concepts. Hats off to a very intelligent 10 year old and great job Dad on raising him. He puts me to shame with raising 3 seperate 10 year olds over the last 20 years (presently have a 10 year old now).
but after thinking about it yes a 10 year olds attention span may be the reason for past tourneys being abandon (he was what 8 or 9 years old on those)
edit add:
had to look up some of his earlier work 3 years ago when he was only 7
viewtopic.php?f=93&t=32867&p=851273#p851273
and wow, when I had 7 year olds they could not hardly get that many words in spelling classes much less be able to type. Very inteligent bright boy you got there
