how would I change my name?

like if I wanted to change my name, can I make another account and just quite this one or ask a mod to change it?

as of right now, mods can't change your name, nor can you change your name...and making more then one is still being a multi, even if you don't use the other one...

This should certainly be an option, if only a cosmetic one.

Except that players could abuse it and change their name very frequently to remain anonymous....perhaps after being shamed in the forum, getting into a flame war with someone, being busted as a multi and upgrading the account to remain on the site....etc.

Anonymity is not always a good thing.

Being that it is only a cosmetic change, feedback, post count, post history, etc would not change. It would be like changing your signature.

It will be happy if the day ever comes when I can change my username.

As soon as I opened my account I wanted to change it, due to a simple spelling mistake that I didn't check. I was mean't to be goldilox, but alas now have to stick with golilox.
