Hey how should I play these?

I am in two games that seem kind of stalemated, since attacking any major opponent would allow someone else to win. What strategy is generally used in such a situation?

I would say try to take another bonus and wait it out until either someone else makes a mistake, or you have enough armies to take and hold another bonus and continue until game over.

In this one blue is clearly the top dog and you are comfortably padded from him by some other players. However, if I would be blue I would want to hurt you by breaking Europe. Therefore the truce with red was a good idea for both of you.

Nobody is probably interested in hitting you except blue. I would start reinforcing Poland and Moscow and look how the game goes - particularly if blue gets too greedy expands too much for example in India and/or Oceania. That might be an opportunity to hurt him.

See if you have an opportunity to take Russia. Just make it strong enogh to disencourage blue from breaking the bonus. Also some diplomacy against blue might be in place.

Pay attention to yellow to see if you can get his spoils.

Green and blue should be concerned mainly about each other. Red is probably scared shyteless just like you should be. Maybe some diplomacy with him could work so he wouldn't attack South America with that big stack.

Retreat from Mahgrib with your stack to give red some space and put pressure on yellow. Either collaborate with green against yellow or tell yellow that you are having your back against the wall and will fight for South America. That way you might get the area. Green probably wants to get rid of yellow more than anything.

So... secure your south border by dealing with red... secure your east border by keeping the 10 in the place... start working on the north border for yourself.

If you don't get red to agree with you or if yellow starts putting more pressure on you and nobody puts pressure on yellow, you are probably as good as gone. Then the only smart thing is just to stack and wait.

I checked this one again. You are pretty close of getting overrun. I'd start stacking all future troops around India and let the others fight for Africa, South America and everything else. Maybe green will let you have India and move his troops to China if you talk to him the right way. I would also put the troops in SA and Africa to one stack somewhere to wait for better times. You can't fight the big boys right now.
