meanwhile... Blackhawks and Sharks 2-2 start of the 3rd.
Not sure what the schedule for the finals will be, but I hope the Blackhawks are away the first two games again. They will win on the road ofc, and bring it home for the victory. I smell another SWEEP

Man, how nice would that be? Amazing that only three years after Bill Wirtz died we're favorites in the Stanley Cup. I don't hate the guy like some people, but man, him dying was the best thing that happened to the Hawks in a long time.

I dunno...is saying that we're favorites for the cup, when we are, arrogant? Besides, even if we lose we still are looking a lot better than we were at the start of the decade.

the flyers are on the same level but they basically gave them both games and probably the series.
Everyone? Going into the playoffs all I was hearing was how Chicago would probably lose the first series because of their shitty goaltending. They're only the favorites now because they're up against a seventh seed.
seeds mean nothing in hockey, some teams coast during the regular season and step it up during the playoffs. others are great regular season teams but dont have the talent to the talent to step it up during the playoffs (New Jersey)
Flyers have 1st seed talent but they had alot of issues during the regular season. its foolish to think they're a typical 7th seed. you really don't know the team at all if you do. with that said it looks like this series is over. only way the Flyers can come back is if they win game 4. i suspect the Flyers will convincingly win game 3. if chicago wins game 3 then they will impress me because its going to be a terrible spot for them with the game in philly and a must win for the Flyers
It's a close series. I wouldn't give it away to anyone...especially considering what the Flyers had to do to get here. Seems like an easy pre-game speech to me:"WE DIDN'T COME BACK 3-0 IN A SERIES TO LOSE NOW!!! THIS! IS! PHILLY!" *kicks someone down a pit*
