i dont want to step on anyones toes, as i am one who is really getting into the tournament games, but just to let you know since we (group 49) have been waiting awhile, i think that option 2 is the quickest and i have invited Lurchador to join. again, sorry if that isn't what you wanted to do, no offence

We had three in our group, so I waited almost a week and invited in a friend I met here - a major, now a colonel (probably not the wisest choice if one wants to advance, lol) and of all things, I, the lowest rated player, a newbie, wiped them all out.... :^)

Group #28

Game #7026378

Bring on the next round! =D>

Can you cut to 48 games 192 players and reassign the players? You end up with three finalists or have a second chance game for the last 4 eliminated with the winner moving into the finals. We are game 41 and still waiting for a fourth.

Looks like you may need some additional. I would like to be a reserve if needed.

Oh, VERY important:

With July 4th around the corner in the USA, there should be a break or grace period for games to not start around that time.......

Too many folks will be away that weekend and away from the computer like myself.
I can just imagine trying to find a computer in Upstate New York and my wife's reaction to that. not to mention how missing two turns will ruin the game I might otherwise win.

I will give a few days for people to invite friends into their games. I think this will be the best and quickest way to fill the games. If anyone suspects secret diplomacy please let me know and I'll take care of it. After a few days I will delete games and start putting people into other games. I just don't have the time to find so many reserves.

Why don't you invite people who have already been eliminated and give them a "second chance".

Let me know what you guys think, as there are WAY too many open slots for me to find reserves on my own.

Well that could make that someone gets 2 places....

I won my game as previously reported, but am all for giving losers a 'second chance' just to get the tourney going again....

Imagine the hubbub if a previous winner gets beaten by someone they defeated down the line though? :o

Never done a tournament before. After I win do I wait for a new invitation for the next round?
I won a few days ago.

Thanks,
