New York City Area Map -- Is it worth making?

Post by yourmomsaccount »

Well, I'm pretty new around here so take it easy on me.

Just trying to judge some interest to see if this map is worth pursuing. Obviously, this is a very rough sketch. I'm thinking about adding more territory to the western and southwestern parts of the map, and I'm not really sure how the continents will work out over there either. Need a lot more territories also. Right now it's a mess on the western side. I'm pretty happy with nassau (green) and the city, though small, is obviously a challenge. Should I extend north/northwest as well? Should I even bother making this?

its a great idea for a map but there is to less of command posts but it would be a good idea to make it a playable map.

Having just one territory each for Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, etc. does not do the Big Apple justice. Who cares about suburban Long Island and Connecticut!? I still think this one had the most potential.

I'm not crazy about the apples but it still looks better (and more playable) than that hideous King Kong one.

I agree. I like the map from kingwaffles from page 2 of this link: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... c&start=15

Somehow, that chain just went dead last summer.
