Re: The Mob vs. The Mafia vs. The Betrayer [Night 2]

Post by Victor Sullivan »

Despite the threat, the town went about their day without much accusation, wondering if something might happen if they didn't do anything. Well, their wonderings were correct, as freezie spontaneously combusted in the privacy of his own home. The town eventually discovered freezie's ashes as they headed to bed...

NIGHT 2 BEGIN!

This.

Should have been duday, he has posted the least by far. Nothing of substance at all, but he didn't die cause he posted spam after freezie.

Or Haggis too.

It is fair, it is just not conducive to a faster paced day tomorrow. I would have done least posts in the last few pages, but hey your game your call.

Umm, yeah, this is why i said that we should nominate someone who's slightly suspicious as it is better than getting someone completely random killed ...

I was wondering why everyone ignored that, guess, you guys didn't read what Victor said about the mod kill mechanic closely enough.

Am not gonna shush. Haggis had much less latest post than I did, I tried making someone talk, I posted and was active. Unless you prove me that I was the ultimate least poster, I will not shut up. I looked back at the last 2 pages, I wasn't. So once again, why me?

"least latest" not least. Everyone else had a post after your latest post. End of story.

I was prepared to be modkilled? Not my fault that I wasn't.

Yeah, easy to say that now.
There's absolutely no reason for you to make this post. "End of story" also counts for you. Making offended posts like this is possibly even worse than the regular spam we get.

I'd know what to do if I were the mod, but then I'm not. Also, I have no knowledge on roles, so don't think I'm hinting anything... This just is a ridiculous course of actions.

After a long, long night, the town awakens to the satisfying smell of black blood, oozing from stab wounds of the almost unrecognizable edocsil (guilty). A trail of blue blood from the bowie knife in edocsil's hand led all the way to an outhouse, with an unlucky Fircoal (innocent), a single large stab wound cleanly through his chest.

DAY 3 BEGIN!

I'm scrapping the nomination mechanic, as it is hurting the gameplay. You may vote as per usual.

Oh wow. So since there are 4 people left. Edocsil can't have been the betrayer because then the mafia would have won right? So that means there are 2 townies, 1 betrayer, and 1 mafia left.

that may not be completely true, it could be that the betrayer wins he/she is one of 2 people left. I wish we knew freezie's alignment as that would help a lot(and I mean a lot), simply because it could determine if town can even still win. The way I see it if there is still mafia member alive and the betrayer is too, then it is impossible for town to win. However, if we have killed both mafia, and only the betrayer remains(or vice-versa) then we really need to make our vote count otherwise we're screwed.

Victor Sullivan wrote:Okay, here's my idea for my mafia game:
9 people:
-2 mafia
-1 cop
-1 betrayer
-5 townspeople/mob members

Townspeople and cop win if the mafia members and the betrayer are killed.
Mafia wins if the only people left are them (or one of them) and either the cop or a townie.
The betrayer wins if only he and a townsperson or cop are left.
If a mafia member and the betrayer are left, then everyone loses.

Alright, I think that covers everything. If you have any ?'s please speak up.

2. lalaland
3. aage
4. Haggis the Muffin Man
5. freezie
6. duday
7. edocsil
8. Fircoal
9. Jace22

EDIT: When someone is killed, they will be classified as "innocent" (a cop or townie) or "guilty" (the betrayer or a mafia member).

Reading that over, betrayer wins if it is just he and a townie or cop left. So basically he is 3rd party but kind of on the town side because he can't win when mafia are left. This will be very very interesting.

I kinda think of the betrayer as a second mafia, however like I stated previously, we don't know what freezie's alignment was, So it's possible we only have 1 scum left.

Basically options are:

betrayer left, if we lynch town we lose
1 mafia left, if we lynch town we lose
betrayer and 1 mafia left, we have almost certainly lost, unless the scum kill each other in the night
2 mafia left not possible, cause the game would have been already over.

We need to get scum today.

PS. Just saw the vote against me in the preview screen. Can't really defend myself against gut feelings, care to elaborate?

well, basically i think you and duday have the highest chance of being scum.
Jace, i think isn't, because he's a noob and I feel like he would have made an obvious mistake by now if he were scum...
I mean, this isn't super precise reasoning, but we don't any huge scum tells that i see at the moment, so this is what my gut tells me. Which isn't necessarily right, but it has a chance.

I'm more inclined to believe that duday is scum, but like lala, it is more of a gut feeling then anything. So since we need everyone on a single person to lynch,(which is in no danger of happening atm) vote duday
