Battle in the USA - Vol 2 - WINNER - rishark1969

I ran a USA tournament about a year ago and was pleased with the overall result. Time for round two. It's a little different this time around.

Total # of Entrants - 16 (Must have a rank)
Total # of Rounds - 3
Maps Used: USA Series (Great lakes, New England, Rockies, Southeast, Southwest, West), USA, and N. America

Round 1 - This will be a series of games moving through the USA series of maps with the winner of each game moving on to round 2. It will begin with the 16 players broken into group 1 and group 2 with groups balanced by CC score. The first game will be an 8 player game on Great Lakes. Win that and you're done in round 1 and move on to Rd 2. Losers of that game from the group will play a 7 man match on Southeast with the winner moving on to Round 2. This will continue down to a three man match on the West map with the 6th and final person from each group moving on to Round 2.

Order of the Round 1 maps:
- Great Lakes - 8 player game
- Southeast - 7 player game
- Rockies - 6 player game
- New England - 5 player game
- Southwest - 4 player game
- West - 3 player game

Round 2
With 6 players advancing from each group, round two will consist of three games on the USA map with the winner advancing and the losers playing a rematch until there are three that advance from each group.

1st game - 6 players
2nd game - 5 players
3rd game - 4 players

Final Round
Six players will remain in the tournament at this point (3 from each group). Those six players will play games one at a time on the N. America map until someone has won twice. That person will be crowned as the champion.
