more free games

Post by lt_oddball »

:D

In the big blue web world there are many game sites where you can play a greater amount of simultaneous free play than here.
(say....about 10 http://www.jijbent.nl http://www.youplay.it etc..).
Only for the really addicted there are membership VIP fees that allow you so much more (more games but also switching off advertisements etc..).

Couldn't we get a few more for the freebees here than the 4 now ?

Or is it too embarrassing to ask ?

Come on! Its only twenty dollars. If you are too poor to come up $20, then you shouldn't be playing risk on-line and be looking for a job. Man-up Nancy.

There is no luck, only preparation and execution.

Alliances are for the weak, whimpering masses looking for someone to hold their hand through the storm.

Not like it's $20/month, it's $20 per year That's $0.83 per month or less than 5.5 cents per day...

Go out on the street and find a nickle every day laying around somewhere and you are in luck, all the CC you could ever dream of :D
Rank: Seargant
Current Score: 11-23
Largest Streak: Current / win / lose: 2 loss / 4 / 8
Current / Least / Most: 1053 / 992 / 1153

I read this and couldn't help but think of a poor, needy lackattack on a commercial with flies all over him wanting just 5.5 cents per day. Not making fun, just a strange mental picture.

While I'm rambling, that movie Indecent Proposal where the guy offers to pay a million dollars to sleep with that other guys wife. Now come on, we all know that no one would pay a million dollars to sleep with any of our wives, BUT - we could charge the low, low CCesque price of $20 50,000 times!

Alright, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

You are lame. My suggestion is go to those sites that let you play more games for free.

If it was all free, then it wouldn't be as good as it is today. It cost money to run web sites. Don't like it, like others have said, pay the $20. If you don't want to pay the $20, don't complain.

well..there are many ways to get money incoming for a website business.

Customer paid is one, of course.
Advertisements is the other, and when the website is good/big market then much more money would come in through that.
That 's the idea i get from those other websites.
It 's just a matter of balancing/ choice.

But why not getting more money through advertisements or silly marketing questionaires ?

The "trouble" with paying a vip arrangement is that it easily becomes too addictive (300 simultaneous games..yeaaah) because once paid for it , you will want to use it to the max (hey ? a ranking system..let's see how far I can get within this year).
And that can screw up yr (social) life considerably.

Of course for those who have the time (professional jobless :) ) and want to excell in this game should pay extra (technically they require the webmaster to buy more/bigger servers).
But maybe it should go stepswise ( 0-10 free, 11-50 10 USd, 51-100 15usd 101-unlim 20 USD and some extras like factorization of score points in wins with resp. 1.0 1.1 1.4 2.0 ).

It 's not a demand, or critique..only a wish. A thought.

Have a good evening. :P

lack needs to make a living out of this and to be honest i don't think he is earning even half the salery that he deserves. i'm not going to wade into this to deeply because i was lucky enough to win my premium membership.

my suggestion would be to buy a prem membership if at all possible.

edit: also this is the best risk site so it doesn't matter if other places allow you to play more because 1 game on here is equal to 20 on any other site :D

Hell, I'm sick of only being able to play 4 games at a time too.

But I'm not going to complain about that; what I've done instead is ask the missus if I can buy the premium membership later this week. She said I could so by the end of next week I should be a paying member of this awesome game :D

It's a damn farce, though, that the $NZ-$US exchange rate will see me paying around $33.00

If lack starts putting adverts on the site I'll leave(some may say that’s a good thing  ), I really hate that sh*t messing up a good website.
That’s one of the things I really love here, ‘cause there's no sponsors to please the forum can really allow free speech and there's no annoying waits while you have to click through adverts (and get tons of junk mail).

not that easy. i bet thousands of teenagers would buy stuff if they had the credit/debit to back it up. they have the money, but it just can't be converted so easily into a card system.
