i agree with the other two. its very hard to see the map symbols. maybe you could make a thin black outline around the symbols to make it more distinguishable.

the symbols can be modified. i'll do it this night. but please go to the other thread. this is for the bill of rights.

I'm torn - I think that thematically the pirate map will have more appeal, but the parchment/bill of rights map looks stunning. I'm wondering why the theme can't just be applied to work you've already done on the parchment? Lose the photo and make it a compass? Replace the quill with a scimitar?

I think there's a lot of excellent work here, and I'd hate to see you get frustrated and drop it because the feedback keeps pulling you in two different directions.

i'm not dropping it. i said i will continue work on it. but i really needed to take a break from the parchment map. i'm too tired of fighting with the layers. it's a real mess in there. i said before there are over 500 layers and they're poorly organized. after i finish the age of merchants map. i'll try to do some reorganization to this one.
