The recession ended in June 2009. Here's the story from a right wing news source to prove it.

No, you can't prove that there would be a depression if Obama didn't do X.

So, the recession ended before the stimulus money was barely out the door?

I don't know about that, but I'd bet their target market is, very much so.

I wouldn't call audiences right wing. I'd call them fiscal conservatives. I work with a ton of very liberal people who read the WSJ daily. I don't find a lot of Christian Coalition, Birthers, deport all the Mexicans type people read the WSJ.

The editorial side is definitely right wing, the news side not so much. I have read complaints, though, that the news side is becoming more right wing.

The reporting in the WSJ is world-class. I read it. I just scoff when flipping past the editorial page. Its agenda is stultifying, I think.

Wow, that was elitist-souding. I'm not quite sure what "stultifying" means, but it seemed right to describe the WSJ editorial board.

I would 100% agree that the WSJ editorials are right-leaning.

I still think they have the best and least-controversial news articles of anything I've read or seen. There really is no slant. That being said, I'm pro-business, so maybe that's part of it.

Well, I tend to think most news pieces have little to no slant (besides a fawning to whoever grants them an interview. We need a better press corps) and I agree that WSJ newsmen are among the most professional in the world.
