Merry Christmas to our troops & vets

Post by bradleybadly »

If you have ever served in the U.S. military or are currently serving, I just wanted to pass on how grateful my family and I are for keeping us all safe. Your sacrifices are appreciated. I don't care if I've disagreed or argued with you in the past - a big thank you.

Merry Christmas

For once I agree with you. Don't have a cow over it though. The military is just doing its job and hopefully they can all come home soon without having to be sent to unjustified wars.

Happy holidays to them.

Merry Christmas to everyone and also our troops, especially the ones serving overseas away from their families.

CC is banned in the troops internet.

The official reason was its antiwar threads, but unofficially, an army guy who used to play when he was on service told a few of us that a couple of troopers died when a guy who was supposedly watching his post, got busy finishing an escalating speed game and missed an Iraqui with a bomb attached to his chest cutting through a fence and advancing towards a group of young guys having lunch.

I want to thank my grandmother for persisting through tuberculosis. She was locked in a tuberculosis "sanitarium" in Hawaii. They took her 8 children away from her and put them in an orphanage. My mother never got her mother back until she had been married for years. But my grandmother persisted and survived to see her children thrive in Hawaii. I think that took real courage in those days between the wars. She is my trooper.

How many depressing stories are you going to post on the threads this holiday season? This is also completely off topic... please, stop.

Reporting your post also btw. You should know better, having a colored name and all. Zing!

Wow! That is incredible! My Grandmother had TB as well, She had been a ship welder in Portland Oregon. They took her 6 kids away when they put her in the TB sanitarium up there. My Grandfather was killed so the kids scattered into the wind. My mom was adopted from the orphanage when she was 7 they hypnotized her, changed her name and made her right handed from left. She and my G-ma met just after my mom had my older brother. Hmmm? Our crazy lives. :-s

DDS, I can't believe you're cheating on me with killing. We're going to have to discuss this in private.

And while I wish the troops and vets the best, I fucking hate Christmas and have only said the words "Merry Christmas" to one person so far.
