Should the keyboard background be dark or white?

if you want a poll just edit the first post. anyway ask a mod to unite the 2 threads and keep this poll.

I will say that a keyboard idea has some potential. A long while ago it was discussed that you could give bonuses for forming certain words like 'conquer' or 'club'. I think that is a much better idea then going with a traditional continent route, but it poses many problems as well. For example, common letters like 'E' might become overly powerful because they are used in many words. Also, the longer the list of words becomes the more fun it would be (IMHO) but it would also be hard to realize when someone has a continent.
In any case, I think a map along those lines has some potential, but it would need top notch graphics to keep people interested since it may lack appeal for some.

my alphabet soup map got turned down because noone wanted to search through all the combinations to see if someone had captured a continent/bonus

There's a reason...
And also a perfectly good ideas thread at the top of the board. Pick something off there.

Find a good idea. That's usually the best place to start.
Keyogi, this is a good idea. I've been around the forum, and I've noticed you hate EVERYTHING that is not yours or someone you know! Post count or join time does not mean anything about skill.
Sure, he needs help with graphics, but instead of calling his idea bad, help him with graphic ideas. He could have a lot better functions with the keys sure, but that doesn't mean anything about the idea.
DoomsDay, be sure to specify whether either Ctrl is allowed with Ctrl + Alt + Del. I like your idea with the Shift being able to attack all the Numbers and Symbols.
Name your continents something else. For example, your "Middle Letters" would be better in my opinion to call it the Home Row. The row with the numbers, call it the Number Row. F1-F12 call the Function Keys, etc.
I would really appreciate your opinions over here.

I'm sorry, but personally I'm sick of people coming into the foundry and posting something they made in paint and then saying "I need help with the graphics and XML." If you don't have the skills, programs, time, whatever to complete a map from start to finish then stop wasting everyones time and post your idea in the Map Ideas thread.

Sure a keyboard might be a good idea if something was done to make if fun.
Unfortunately, DoomsDay has no ideas on how to do this. He has presented just... a keyboard.
