Well, we don't really have a whole lot of evidence. I view it this way however. As townies, our only power is to lynch. If we don't lynch, then the mafia (werewolves) get a free kill at one of us.

It's better to lynch puff and hope he's mafia instead of sitting here twiddling our thumbs. We're already screwed because we twiddled our thumbs on day 2 and the cop/doc is already dead.

After much debate, the townspeople decide to lynch Puff. Funnily, Puff was not able to defend himself since he had been asleep throughout the two hour-debates. Was he up all night fighting with and mauling pyro55 to death? Puff is briskly hung from the anicipation of the townspeople in lynching a werewolf. After his death he is almost immediately taken down, and the villagers strip his body. There's nothing strange- except for a small Rosary inside his pocket for protection from the werewolves but not from townies. They conclude that they have lynched another townie.
