Come on entry 4! Keep the lead!
Re: Golfe du St-Laurent Voting Commences!
If the voting stays this close, will there be a run-off? I voted for 7 but, if it had just been between 3 & 4, I would have voted for 3.

Yeah, I think there is going to be a run off between our top two.
Anyone have any opinion on giving the mapmakers a chance to redress some of the things brought up in the topic? Things like dots on entry 3 could use some adjustment. Entry four has some problems with names crossing over border lines.

Re: Golfe du St-Laurent Voting Commences!
Glad to hear about the run off. In past votes, you were able to change your vote so, you could throw your support behind your favorite top contender at the last moment. Since we don't seem to be able to do that this time, a second round of voting between these two very close entries seems fair.

OK, presuming nothing changes within the next couple days, Entry 3 and Entry 4 will be running against each other in a short run off. You will have one week to vote, best to decide now.
And apologies for such a long voting period... two weeks really is ridiculous, isn't it? New personal voting motto, one week maximum voting period.
So this Sunday, Entry 3 versus Entry 4 in the ring.

On a side note, I'd like to say that I loved #7's idea of using a satellite-type image, so honourable mention to you good sir or madam!

Apparently someone was promoting themselves. Plus, the original rules say nothing about anonymity, though they should have. That was my fault... first time running a contest.

Re: Golfe du St-Laurent: Run-off Poll!!!
wow. Tough call, I think.
Interesting to see how different they really are, despite depicting the same piece of land - like the extra Island of Nova Scotia and the shapes of the two northernmost continents.
I would have really liked to see the other entries, though. Can I entice you to put them back in once all is said and done? Or maybe there's somewhere else I can check them out?
Thanks.
