[CC2] - LoW (24-17) OSA (of 41) - Final

Post by reptile »

Current Score
LoW: 24
OSA: 17

This Challenge is for the CCup Season 2 Located : viewtopic.php?f=441&t=136588
As originally agreed, the skirmishes will continue with the 12-hour don't-play fog of war rule; the only difference is the modification by Chuuuuck to exclude conquer-type maps where it doesn't matter anyway.
To avoid confusion, each clan is to indicate in their game sends where the rule shall or shall not apply.

LoW indicator wrote:"This is a fog of war game.
Neither team shall start their turn until 12 hours after game initialization (when the last player joined) unless at least one member of the opposing team posts a note that it's okay to start, in the game chat.*"

Below the list, the following:

"*failure to comply with the fog of war 12-hour playing ban on noted games will result in the opposing team getting the choice of a remake or requesting the lost information, within 24 hours of the erroneous start. (Based on Chuuuuck's ruling from round 1)"

OSA is not restricted to that specific wording.

As originally directed by Chuuuuck, LoW will send its Round 2 quads, beginning with World2.1, one by one, as soon as the LoW members playing those games have cleared slots. (Purpose: to get all skirmish quads started, and hopefully ended, without delaying the tournament).

As originally agreed, LoW understands that OSA may have a delay in filling the games (their members, especially their freemium members, playing those games may be involved in other games.)

No other agreements made prior to the start of the games applied to round 2.

All games will be exchanged by the Round 2 deadline established by Chuuuuck for the overall tournament.
- The 41st game will be Quads on World 2.1, sunny, chained, no spoils
- Each map can only be used twice per clan per clan war but can only be used once per game type (i.e. once for triples and once for quads)

Masli granted privs this morning.

Good luck, OSA... Legends are ready for Round 1 when you are.

If you like we can start with that 7 quads + 3 triples??

Tie would be played in 2nd set.

I can probably shift a triples instead of the dubs, but nay to the additional quads just yet.
Shifted one quads. Lineup looks like 6 quads, 4 trips from us to you in round 1

As we've agreed (per Chuuuuck's request) we'll begin with 10, then send more games prior to the official start of round 2, as soon as your players are freed up - with preference to the larger games/maps to try to speed up the end.

You're free to interpret his prediction that way, but my guess is that win chance means something along the lines of "if this matchup was played over and over again, LoW would get more gamewins 57% of the time, whereas OSA would get more gamewins 43 % of the time."

This should be a good challenge - one to definitely keep an eye on. I'll be rather liberal and I'll say:

LoW 24 - 17 OSA
But... It was so artistically done.

Yes, OSA was definitely under rated according to their members... i am very interested to see how they fair. They could surprise a lot of ppl.

Shouldn't LoW be the ones to say that?

And anyways, lets just say that I do think that OSA is an upcoming clan and while I doubt they can beat LoW, I think they will definitely fight fairly well.

Legends of War Round 1 home games sent to benga (copied Chuuuuck, bigpash, Masli) this morning (March 9).

6 quads, 4 triples - per mutual agreement and Chuuuuck approval, the tiebreaker on World will be part of 2nd set

12-hour rule applies to fog games per mutual clan agreement

LoW understands due to OSA having freemie members, their games (Home or away) may take a little longer to fill

Have fun, everyone!

Futher more I have also instructed those who join only once per day just to deploy so that map stays the same as it was.
