I use Verizon. Every Verizon phone, in addtion to a phone number, has an email address. For example, Verizon's is [10-digit number]@vtext.com, or [10-digit number]@vzwpix.com for picture messages. Basically every major service provider has this feature, except with other email extension addresses (?) of course.
It would be nice to receive texts for whenever I'm able to take my turn. It would also be nice (I mean, necessary) to enable/disable this feature whenever I wanted. Would this be accomplished through a server? Or would I have some sort of script that makes my own email address do this? I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Well, the site can send e-mail notifications to the address you have in the Conquer Club Control Panel (look to your left, click Control Panel, then the Profile tab, and then select "Edit account settings". If you receive the emails sent to [10-digit-number]@vtext.com as a text on your phone, you change this value, and then under Game Settings (look to your left again), you select what events you want to be notified of.
