Random Map Medal
We have a shiny new game achievement medal for playing random map games!

If you can earn it, everyone will know that you're a truly versatile player.

Of course, this means that we are now tracking which games were started on the random map. Any new random map games will be indicated as such in game listings, and can be found in the Game Finder by searching for Random Map (even after the game starts). Unfortunately we have no way of knowing which existing games were started on the random map, so we are all starting from scratch!

API Improvements
The Conquer Club API has been updated so that you can now request info on multiple maps or multiple players in one shot. This should lead to faster running tools & enhancements. Also fixed a bug where filtering games by map didn't work properly and we now display a distinct status for freestyle blocks (and in our RSS feed as well).

Map XML Improvement
Map designers can now specify the maximum number of starting positions to be issued to each player. Details to appear in the Map Foundry...

Layout Improvements
The right-side panel on our Home page has been enlarged and we added a Twitter box with the latest tweets. The left-side panel was shrunk and we renamed "Premium Membership" to "Upgrade !" which will be highlighted in red in case you haven't got premium yet.

Random map is cool - Shame old random maps cannot count

Premium..... hmm I liked the name, why the change?

Thanks Lack. One question though. Will we be able to see them under the actual map as well? Example if I get World 2.1 for my Random map, will I be able to find the game by searching both Random Map & World 2.1 Map?
taking a break from cc, will be back sometime in the future.

When I started trying to shrink the left-side panel (to compensate for enlarging the right-side panel) I realized that "Premim Membership" could limit the shrinkage so I chose someting more attention-grabbing :mrgreen:
