If you want to see a really bad movie, here's my vote for Worst Movie Ever Made.

It's called Nine Months and it features that snivelling wanker Hugh Grant. His girlfriend gets pregnant and decides she now has some leverage to make a whole pile of completely unjustified demands. She wants him to give up his car, his job, his dog, and pretty much trash his whole life, just because she has some cockamamie ideas that these things will in some trivial way benefit the baby. At first he refuses but then she does leave him. Does he show some principles and say, "good riddance, bitch. Anybody who would blackmail someone like that isn't worthy of being a life partner?" Of course not. He goes crawling on all four licking the ground she walks on and begging her to come back.

The fact that she wanted him to give up his gas-guzzling pig of a sports car I could tolerate, but booting out the dog, who she herself admitted was a big part of their life, was more than I could stomach. What a nauseating display!

yeah the Shrek franchise is way over rated. Shrek should have stopped at 1.
Toy Story 3 was ok though, although the whole series kinda sent the message that your toys had to be your whole life (notice Andy never plays with friends except for one birthday party scene, and he always has his toys around him).

The Star Wars Holiday Special.

For the first 20 minutes, which are entirely in Wookie language without subtitles, the movie goes downhill. After that the movie falls off a cliff and doesn't hit rock bottom even after it ends.

I was extremely disappointed with Avatar, but probably not the worst I've ever seen.

I hated Freddie Got Fingered. It's the only movie I've watched that I didn't finish.

Yeah, it's hard to top the Star Wars Christmas Special. It's not even so bad that it's good. The movie's completely unwatchable.

I Am Legend, was pure gash.
The Exorcist, according to my mrs.
Mirrors, was lame.

There are heaps.

Some Chinese movie about espionage during World War II. All it talks about is some female agent getting caught by the Japanese in Nanjing and molested/tortured over and over again until she's dead.

@ QoH; not questioning your taste, but...You do realize that Places in the Heart won 2 Oscars, was nominated for 10 more, won 2 Golden Globes including Best Picture, and dozens of other Screenwriters and Film Festival awards? It is widely considered on of the best films of all time. Maybe not your genre or era but definitely doesn't belong in a Worst Movie of All Time conversation. :-k

Yeah, a lot of the movies mentioned don't belong in here. People tend to hate a movie more if it's supposed to be good and they don't like it than if it's supposed to be terrible and it really is terrible.

I mean Titanic? I am Legend? 127 hours? hell even the Saw franchise? they're not that bad.

Star wars Christmas special and Freddy got fingered ... Now those are some bad movies.

Anyone seen "The Room" ?

I agree with you apart from one of those films. I am Legend. It really was absolute shite. Boring, pointless, basically no plot line, predictable, pathetic ending, skewed way off the book, I mean it was just an absolute waste of money... no wonder it never made it big.

Titanic - epic film
127 hours - haven't seen it
Saw franchise - brilliant, I love them

Oh, just as an afterthought, I know I am Legend grossed half a billion dollars world-wide, but that's only due to the hype of the film and the fact that one of the best loved actors of the past 30 years was in it.

Yes: the fact that you've got people to pay money to see it does NOT mean they were happy after seeing it.

[quote="Sniper08"]i am legend - will smith talking to a dog for half the film just terrible probably one of 2 of his movies that were awful the other being wild wild west.

Really? Loved 'I am Legend'. Great movie. It wasn't just a straight up action movie, it was a movie about the character/ a thinking movie.

Worst I've seen.... Avatar's plot was terrible, so was Tron: Legacy's....
