It does happen. I lost 13-3 last night in a critical situation and I've been kicking myself ever since. Still, I probably would have lost them even if I had gone one click at a time. Would I have stopped when I got down to 5 troops? Maybe. Or maybe I would have said, "Oh, my luck has to change at SOME point!"
Yeah, that's my thing too. I keep thinking that these F'ing dice have got to start rolling in my favor so i usually will just click away anyhow. Auto helps me stay to stay a little sane. maybe.
I had a 37-13 brought down to a 3-6... aaarrrgggh. But I would have clicked it one click at a time to there anyway, saved me a couple minutes of cussing at each roll.
