The curling tourney (abandoned)

This isn't an actual tournament based on curling. It is just based on the format that was used when I was curling.
The tournament will be a 1 vs 1 format with the maps being random, escalating, sunny, unlimited, automatic.
There will be 24 players and it will consist of 3 rounds.
The first round each player will play 8 games. If you win your game you get 2 points. If you lose you get 0. Once this round is over then i will split everyone into 2 groups, the top 12 into one group and the bottom 12 into another.
The second round everyone will play everyone in their group once. This time if you win you get 3 points in the higher division and 2 in the lower division and if you lose you get 0. I will then re-split everyone with again the top 12 into one group and the bottom 12 into another.
The third round we should have the best of the best in the top group and again we will have everyone play everyone from their group once. This time if you win you get 4 points for the higher division and 3 points in the lower division with again 0 if you lose.
The winner of the tournament will be who ever has the most points after the final round of games.
Now when I was curling, if we were tied after 10 ends both teams would get just 1 point. Im not sure if I will do something similar such as if there is no winner after 10 rounds it will be considered a tie. Let me know what you think when you sign up and I will do which ever is most popular.
Also if this fills up really fast I may add more players or do multiple groups and have a playoff at the end instead.
