Hello everyone,
This is a call for a Map Champ Challenge tournament.
I figured out, we'd all like a shot at beating those high score players, who seem to never lose
on their favourite map - and that's what this tournament is about.
This time we'll challenge the champions of Arms Race! map.
Here are the details:
Map: Arms Race!
Deployment: Auto
Turns: Sequential
Spoils: Flat
Reinforcement: Unlimited
Fog: No
Rounds: Casual
All matches 1vs1, 1 game knockout.
32 players simple bracket style tournament (the seed is 58, since the map champs are exmpted of round 1).
3 champion players of the map (3 top highest score players according to Map Rank GL) will be automatically
be included in the tournament, and seeded in various brackets from round 2 and on (they'll be exempted
from round 1).
Map champs will not play each other before the semi finals.
The champs, of course, are not only allowed to win the tournament, but are expected to do so.
If one of more of the map champs decline partificaption in the tournament (they will be notified of the
tournament once it starts collecting players), or does not show up, the next players after them in the map
scoreboard according to Map Rank GL will be seeded as a map champ instead.
