Back in August of 2006, our beloved banana-eating [player]AndyDufresne[/player] had already spent 3 months volunteering as the first Foundry Foreman, when I approached him with an offer for a job. We needed someone to help with the behind-the-scenes grunt work, and Andy had already proven to be capable and dedicated to this website. He became employee #2 (Twill being our first staff member, of course).

Fast-forward 5 years and AndyDufresne is not only still here, but he's doing an amazing job running the show. As Community Manager (his title was once fittingly named Zoo Keeper) Andy coordinates a small army of volunteers and takes initiatives to make sure that Conquer Club is fun, fair and always getting better.

Five years is a long time, and I can't imagine this website without him. I'm indebted to him for his excellent service, and so is anyone who enjoys and cares about Conquer Club. So AndyDufresne, here's to your loyalty, to your talent, to your positive attitude and to your cute curious george avatar!!!
