I will submit a GA Medal request for the most dominating performance. If you are the first player to beat someone 10-0 or 9-1 or 8-2 and so on--whatever is the best dominating performance and the first to do it.
--Isn't it a race to 10, not a best of ten? Meaning that the score would be 10-1 or 10-2 if not 10-0, as opposed to 9-1 or 8-2?
--oops--thanks to jimfinn for pointing that fact out

I'm not sure this makes sense to me.

Does the "most dominating" part take precedence over the "race" part, or not?

In other words, if the best round 1 performance is 8-2, but later in the tourney somebody goes 10-0 in a series, does the 10-0 get the medal because he was most dominating, or does the 8-2 get the medal because he was first?

Another question. If the first 10 games end up say 8-2. How many additional games are played at one time to decide it?

From page 1, it states you have to win by 2, so for argument sake if you came to 8-2 then you would play 2 more straight up... obviously if the player ahead loses either of those 2 keep playing more games until someone has won 10 games with a margin of 2 wins.

I am guessing HA will create games as needed in blocks of 10 so he is not constantly harrassed to create games and it will be up to the integrity of the players to only join and play the games as necessary.

Cheers,

Sry dude that doesnt answer the important part of the question. It doesn't say anywhere that in the 8-2 scenario games would then be played in blocks of two rather than as another block of 10 and it seems to me creating 10 games for people to join as they see fit might be a whole lotta extra work for HA.

Hence the question.

It was pointed out to me that no one would go 8-2 but it would end up being 10-2 for example--for the medal it will be most dominating performance in the tourney no matter what round--although I do expect it to be first or second due to the better players moving on after round one and the matches getting more competitive.

The race to ten is every time, win by two though. Each round advancing on and someone eventually winning the tourney

The dominating performance would go to the first player that went 10-0--if not one goes 10-0 it goes to the first who went 10-1, then 10-2, then 10-3 and so forth. Emily may have went 10-1 this round as she was 9-1 already--if that is the case and no one else goes 10-1 this round she will lead in the most dominating performance GA medal category. Then someone would have to go 10-0 to win it or she would win it if no one does.

Hope that makes things clearer.

Okay, I think I understand.

While we're on the subject, my opponent and I have gone 5-5, so we will definitely need at least 5 more games. (Well, technically the last 2 games haven't finished yet, but they are pretty certain.)

Do you want this kind of notice posted in the thread, or should it just wait until you do updates?

My series is now 7-7 with one ongoing. Will need at least 2 more games, but probably just make 3 while you're at it. The chances are good the last one will be needed, and if it's not then it's not a big loss.
