Congrats to ZionT for winning this tourney!



This is a Tournament Players Association Year 2(TPA2) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments. All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA2 events that will be announced each Monday. Check back on the TPA2 scoreboard in the Tournaments--> General Info forum to see how you're doing.

Looking for 64 potential terminators.

There will be 8 groups of terminators and there will be 8 in each group. 5 games per round on the various Asian maps listed below. There will be a total of 5 rounds. If a game goes longer then round 30 (so round 31 does not count but round 30 does) no kills in that game will count. The Finals will be 8 terminators and the one who has the most kills wins. Points will follow you to each round. In the event of a tie after the 5 games a tie breaker game will be a standard game created on the Asia map. Unless there are 3 or more players tied then we will play another terminator game. If TB games go to a third TB game then and we still have a tie the player who lasts the longest in the game will get to move on.

Start the game 64 players
Round 2 = top 48 players in Round 1
Round 3 = top 32 players in Round 2
Round 4 = top 16 players in Round 3
Finals = top 8 players after round 4

After each round I will use random.org to make next group.

Kills will be calculated as 1 point for each kill and extra 2 points for the winning the game.

Groups will be done via Random.org

Can I make the suggestion of creating all games as having 50 round limits, since the tourney portion will be over by then anyway? Flat rate multiplayer screams stalemate to me, even in terminator games.

For the game that goes over round 31 all the kills in that game will not be counted. So even if the kills happened before round 31 they will not count. This will hopefully ensure some action and no stalemates.
