the next tourney i'm hosting will be presented by our clan "The Pig Renters". your job is to beat us. it's just that simple. we're basically just trying to gain a bit of recognition. maybe for recruiting purposes later on down the road.

i wont be playing in this one. when i started tourneys i swore i'd never play in my own. but we've assembled 4 triples teams that will fight tooth and nail to keep their image alive. and besides, if you do beat us. we'll just call bad dice. so it's a win win for us.

team information;
this will be a triples bracket consisiting of 8 teams total. meaning there will be 3 rounds.

i've selected a list of maps to choose from. the purpose is to make user friendly fun maps. we want to make this based more on general gameplay than knowing a board or not. i'm sure everyone can find a map that they enjoy. you can find the list here;
01. classic
    02. 13 colonies
    03. africa BaD

    48. U.S.A.
    49. wwii western front
    50. wwii eastern front
    51. Italy
you'll need to pick a home map, a team name, and settings.

the setting will be partially your choice. we're going to keep the common settings of auto, seq, no round limit, and casual you can choose the spoils, reinforcements, and fog/no fog

there will be 3 rounds,

1st round best of 3 ( one home, one neutral, and one away )
2nd round best of 5 ( two home, one neutral, and two away )
3rd round best of 7 ( two home, three neutral, and two away )

the neutral map will be the italy map.
there's no real reason i chose this, just looks like a nice basic map.

the matchups will be based on rank. when i see your post, i'll note your rank.
cook = 1
cadet = 2
private = 3
corporol = 4
sarge = 5
lt. = 6
capt. = 7
major = 8
col. = 9
brig = 10
general = 11
CONQ/FM = 12
this will be totaled and non pigs will be ranked 1-4, along with pigs. 1 will play 1, 2 will play 2 and so on. if you need clarification on this just pm me.

here is a form you can copy and paste in your post to make it easier.

TEAM NAME;
PLAYER 1;
PLAYER 2;
PLAYER 3;
HOME MAP;
SPOILS;
REINFORCEMENTS;
FOG/SUNNY;

ALL GAMES WILL BE SENT OUT AT ONCE FOR EACH ROUND. so to make the final round, you will be playing all 7 games at once. for this, premium members only please.

if i forgot anything or you have any questions, feel free to post in the thread, or send me a pm.

thanks and good luck everyone.

Alaskanassassin - 8
Shoop76 - 8
Tiller - 9

Total = 25

I'll update post with map and settings
Dice stats are irrelevant. If I roll the same amount of 6's as everyone else, but my opponents role 6's at the same time, that's what matters, what's rolled opposite my dice. How about how many total guys I've won and lost while attacking?

also, after having pointed out there are some that feel the italy map is not really balanced. for a neutral map i'm thinking it needs to be pretty balanced. so i'm going to pull it as a neutral board. place it back in the list of maps as a choice, and once everyone has their maps selected i will choose three maps. then let the non-pigs to vote on it via pm.

also, i'm fixing to update the OP.

Well, I never heard back from my teammates so I guess I'll just pick.

Classic, no spoils, chained, sunny

Question: Why are you pitting the best 2 teams against each other in the first round? Wouldn't that be best saved for a possible championship matchup?

i dont' have to have it right now, it was just a reminder. if you want to wait a while longer that's fine.

as far as the matchups go, i don't mind putting it the opposite way. i'll send a pm to all the people who posted for a team in order to get some feedback on changing that..

ok folks, the voting for the neutral map has came to a tie.

it's 3 for balkan peninsulaImage,
and 3 for south americaImage.

so i need a tiebreaker vote for one of these. i'm just going to accept the first post in this thread as the tiebreaker. so if there is one that comes after the first post it don't count.

i'll accept pigs or non-pig votes here.

ready....set.....GO! :geek:

since no one is going to vote, i'll just settle it my own way. i'm sure no one really cares, but in case there is, i want to do it completely random. so today's game pittsburg vs. new england. ( american football ) will decide the map.

if patriots kickoff first then it's balkan

if steelers kickoff first then it's south america

i'll make the games and send invites later on today. good luck folks and thanks for joining. :D
