This is a Tournament Players Association Year 2(TPA2) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments. All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA2 events that will be announced each Monday. Check back on the TPA2 scoreboard in the Tournaments--> General Info forum to see how you're doing. Hello, all.
As most of you know, I generally run eight-player, eight-person escalating games and this tournament will be no different.
Rather than using some of the funky new maps, I went through and rounded up the 40 maps that kicked off Conquer Club and we'll use those for this tournament.
You will get eight games each round. All games will be sent at once.
We'll start at Map 40 and work our way back to the original map - Classic.
I'm hoping to go bigger and better for this tournament and would like 128 players so we can do five rounds, rather than my normal four-round tournament.

Top four in each group moves on
Tie-breakers: show
If players are tied, then the player with the most wins advances. If they are still tied after wins, then we move onto second-place finishes, third-place finishes, fourth-place finishes, fifth-place finishes, sixth-place finishes, seventh-place finishes and finally eighth-place finishes.
TPA2 Scoring: show
While advancement in the tournament relies on how you do against your individual group, placement for the TPA standings will match up your score against everyone eliminated at the same time as you. Those scores will come down to the same tie-breakers as laid out above, except if there are ties, you won't play a tie-breaker game, the points will just be adjusted according to standard TPA2 rules.
